This Reflections piece has been created on canvas, street art walls, silk screen prints, NFTs and now these foil editions. Inspired by all of the previous variations of this piece, I have created 13 different pieces in the lenses like the NFT collection, in 4 different shiny foil colours that play on popular colours from previous works with red, pink, gold and rainbow.
Roy Lichtenstein was one of the pioneers of the pop art movement. Inspired and influenced by comic books, Lichtensteins work was often taken straight off the comic book page and scaled up to become a masterpiece of parody. The influence of comic books is evident in my work and while I use stencils and spray paint, Roy Lichtenstein is still the artist who pioneered this approach which inspired me to put my spin on it.
